We envision a future where everyone can constantly screen, monitor, understand and make decisions about health conditions from their own homes.

We are building smartphone-based health screening solutions

We are an early stage startup working to democratize early disease detection and avoid late diagnosis by leveraging data collected from smartphone sensors and machine learning. We are building the most holistic health screening on the market.

We are funded by Antler Berlin, as well as other Angels and small VCs from Europe and the US. We are currently closing our pre-seed round. We are looking for a Chief medical / science officer to join our team.

🚀 About the position

You will work together with the founding team to shape and build the medical, medical AI and scientific strategy of the product.

💪 Activities and responsibilities

• Define the scientific and medical strategy: you will conduct research and help identify what are the best diseases to target with our offering based on several criteria (e.g. regular checks frequency, accessibility of diagnostic tools, number of people affected by the disease, etc…).
• Scout innovative academic projects: Besides building some technology in-house, YOUTH is looking to integrate academic technologies into its offering via exclusive partnerships. As a CSO, you will play a critical role in scouting and evaluating cutting-edge smartphone-based technologies in academia. You will always stay current with the latest medical research and literature.
• Build exclusive academic partnerships: once target technologies have been identified, you will lead business development and partner outreach to secure academic partnerships.
• Help build a credible brand: you will forge strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, nurture connections with key academic stakeholders, attend and present at scientific conferences, and run new scientific studies leveraging our products.
• Lead regulatory strategy: you will enforce adherence to legal and compliance guidelines. You will explore regulatory and clinical trial frameworks to ensure the compliance of our projects and our partners.
• Define science-based recommendations: after the health screening, YOUTH does not leave the user alone. We provide actionable and concrete recommendations on how to improve or maintain users’ health. Together with the product team, you will help craft science-based recommendations to meaningfully improve users’ lifes.

🎓 Skills and experience

• Ph.D. in Biology or Ph.D./Dr. Med. in Medicine
• Experience in Biology of Aging, preventive medicine, and early diagnosis practices is a plus.
• Extremely passionate, bold, willing to make an impact and achieve big visions
